Opting Out of NoCode-X

When you choose to opt out of NoCode-X, your subscription is converted to a free tier. This process is designed to protect your data, comply with regulations, and provide a safety net against accidental deletion.

What Happens When You Opt Out?

  • Subscription Conversion:
Your paid subscription is set to a free tier, which comes with capped resources. This is considered a soft delete.

  • Data Retention and Deletion:
If your free account remains inactive for one month, all free resources are deleted. This is a hard delete.

Why This Approach?

In the past, some users accidentally deleted their subscriptions. Due to NoCode-X’s compliance standards, deletion is permanent and irreversible. To address this, NoCode-X uses a pragmatic and compliant approach:

  • The free tier acts as a buffer, allowing you to undo the deletion within 7 days.
  • This grace period helps prevent accidental loss of your intellectual property.

For more details, see the limitations of the free account.

How to End Your Subscription

To end your subscription, simply contact [email protected]. Your account will then be converted to the free tier.

Compliance and Your Rights

This process ensures compliance with key regulations:

  • Right to Opt-Out: You can end your contract at any time.
  • Right to Be Forgotten: After the grace period, your data is cryptographically wiped, making it permanently inaccessible.
  • Grace Delete Period: During the 7-day grace period, you can recover, extract, or revive your intellectual property, protecting you from accidental deletion.

By following this approach, NoCode-X balances compliance, user safety, and data protection for all creators.
