2. Intellectual Property

This section explains the ownership of the platform, user-created components, and the rights retained by Co-Dex.eu BV. It clarifies that users are granted a right-to-use license and do not acquire ownership of the platform or its underlying software. It also includes clauses on user content ownership and the limited license granted to NoCode-X for operational purposes.

2.1 Platform Ownership

The NoCode-X platform, including its software, services, and applications, is the exclusive property of Co-Dex.eu BV. Users are granted a right-to-use license, but no ownership rights are transferred.

2.2 User-Created Components

Users may create components for their own use or for use by others on the platform. Ownership of these components remains with the creator. However, this does not transfer any ownership rights to the underlying software.

2.3 Retention of Rights

Co-Dex.eu BV retains all intellectual property rights to the platform, including the right to modify, update, or discontinue any part of it.

3. Licensing Agreement

This section details the types of licenses available (free and paid), the terms for SaaS and self-hosted models, and the rules for reselling or transferring licenses. It also explains the obligations of license holders and the conditions under which licenses may be revoked.

3.1 Types of Licenses

NoCode-X provides both free and paid licenses, granting users the right to use the platform under specific terms. A right to use refers to a non-transferable, non-exclusive permission to access and utilize the platform's features and resources as outlined in the licensing agreement. It does not grant ownership of the platform, its software, or any underlying intellectual property.

  • Free License: Grants users full access to all platform features but with limited resources (e.g., storage, processing power, or usage limits).
  • Paid License: Provides access to the same features as the free license but allows users to scale resources based on their needs. This model operates on a pay-as-you-use basis.

3.2 Hosting Models

NoCode-X offers two hosting models for its platform:

  • SaaS (Software as a Service): Hosted and managed by NoCode-X.
  • Self-Hosted: Allows users to host and manage the platform on their own infrastructure.

3.3 Resale or Transfer of Licenses

Licenses may be resold or transferred to other parties under specific conditions. The original license holder remains responsible for ensuring compliance with the terms of this policy.

3.4 Revocation of Licenses

NoCode-X reserves the right to revoke licenses if the platform is used for illegal, unethical, or unauthorized purposes. This includes activities that violate intellectual property rights or harm the platform's reputation.

4. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, where Co-Dex.eu BV is headquartered. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ypres, Belgium.
